PROJECTS & TECHNOLOGY
Tech Projects completed to the TU Standard.
Some needs have a defined scope, a clear outcome, and a completion point.
Cameras, networks, cabling, migrations, moves, and deployments — planned carefully, executed cleanly, documented properly.
WHAT WE BUILD
Defined work. Clean execution.

Office opening: tech day one
When One Expired Account Took Two Businesses Offline
Two neighboring auto businesses were sharing internet services under the same account. When that account lapsed, both locations suddenly lost connectivity.
This wasn’t just an inconvenience. Their systems depended on that connection, so the businesses needed to get back online as quickly as possible.
My first priority was recovery. I worked through the account issue, coordinated what was needed, and restored connectivity the same day. Once they were operational again, I documented what happened and looked at why one account problem had been able to affect both businesses at once.
The bigger issue was the way the services had been structured. Even though the businesses operated separately, their internet connectivity was still tied together. That created a shared point of failure: a billing or account issue for one could disrupt both.
The next phase was to separate the services properly. The project included installing a dedicated network controller and configuring the environment so each business could operate independently.
The result was more than getting the internet back on. We recovered both businesses from the immediate outage and gave them a clearer path toward an environment where one company’s account issue would not take the other company offline.
That’s how I approach technology projects at Truly Unlimited: solve the urgent problem, understand why it happened, and improve the system so the same failure is less likely to happen again.
Project scope
- Same-day internet outage recovery
- Account and service troubleshooting
- Incident documentation
- Network separation planning
- Dedicated network controller installation and configuration
Outcome
Both businesses were brought back online the same day, and the follow-up project addressed the shared infrastructure that allowed one account failure to affect both operations.
